Planning permission was secured to build two new houses to the rear of a large house on the coast in Sutton. The planning process was complex as going by precedent and plot size, the site allowed for two additional houses, however the attitude in the County Council was that a single house was all that was permissible. Through careful treatment of boundaries and minimising of overlooking it was demonstrated to the Council that the site could accommodate two residences. Traffic studies, detailed landscaping proposals and a new entrance route were developed and agreed, and permission was granted Q1 2020.
